Guys Read

Hi Everyone,

It's Trevor from Youth Services. Sometimes it can be a challenge to spark boys’ interest in reading, especially the reluctant ones. I believe that if we can help boys find the right books, they’ll figure out that reading is cool and they’ll really enjoy it! I wanted to start providing some cool resources to spark boys' interest in reading, to help those reluctant readers. Recently, I found this great website - www.guysread.com. I can’t believe I haven’t checked out this website until now; it has so much cool stuff on it - lots of great tools to get boys interested in books. Also, we have a Guys Read display up at Central right now, and we are brainstorming about what next to do in “The War Against Boys Not Reading”! We will keep you posted…
