It has been a busy summer!

It feels like yesterday all you kids were getting out of school.  Wow, the summer is going by fast. Are you all enjoying your summer of traveling to exotic places through the great programs offered by your libraries?
Here are a few pictures from events that have happened at your local library. See you you know anyone in these pictures.

Ann Lincoln, with her magic show
that included Cleopatra, the rabbit.

I'm sure everyone that attended this program had a ripe roaring good time!

                     DeBeque children traveled to Russia!

While the children from DeBeque had tea and cookies, a world traveler told stories about what it is like to live in Russia.

                Mummies at the Fruita Library

The kids at Fruita look like they are having a good time having themselves turned into mummies. Everyone also made a hieroglyphic necklace to take home.

                          Mummies came to DeBeque too!

Miss Diane from the Central Library came to the DeBeque Branch with
"Travel to Egypt". She had the children make themselves into mummies. They even tried dates, most of the children did not care for this fruit.

Oh my! Can anyone guess who this is? She was showing the children how to walk like an Egyptian.

Stories about Australian animals were told at the Fruita Branch.

Well by my estimate we have four more weeks of the Summer Reading Program. Hope everyone has gotten their passports stamped. If not ask your local library lady how you can get this done.

Have a fun and safe holiday weekend!
